Zorn: 'Skins to start Campbell vs Eagles (AP)
Jason Campbell will remain the Washington Redskins starting quarterback. Coach Jim Zorn said Tuesday on his ESPN980 radio show that he will stick with Campbell for Monday night's game against the Philadelphia Eagles. Campbell was benched at halftime of Sunday's 14-6 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.
Tomlin: K Reed to play despite charges (AP)
Pittsburgh Steelers coach Mike Tomlin says kicker Jeff Reed will play in Sunday's home game against the Minnesota Vikings despite a recent brush with the law. Reed is charged with simple assault, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness for allegedly scuffling with Pittsburgh police outside a bar near Heinz Field in the hours after Sunday's win over the Cleveland Browns.
Chargers game-day worker dies after fall (AP)
A member of the San Diego Chargers' game-day staff died 12 hours after falling out of the press box before the Denver Broncos played the San Diego Chargers on Monday night. Walt Daniels, 66, died at 2:30 a.m. Tuesday at Sharp Memorial Hospital, the San Diego County Medical Examiner's Office said.
Patriots release WR Galloway (AP)
The New England Patriots have released receiver Joey Galloway and tight end Michael Matthews. Galloway signed with the Patriots as a free agent after 14 seasons. He played in three games and had seven receptions for 67 yards. Galloway was a first-round draft pick by the Seahawks in 1995. Matthews was acquired from the New York Giants in a September trade.

After nine seasons in the NFL and three Super Bowl titles, New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is about to embark on a new experience. "It's not too often that we fly east to play a game," Brady said Tuesday in a conference call before Sunday's regular-season NFL game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in London.

Eddie Royal was running so fast that even his brown-and-white striped socks were a blur. Royal became the first player in Broncos history to return a kickoff and a punt for touchdowns in the same game, leading undefeated Denver to a wild 34-23 win over the San Diego Chargers on Monday night. Royal thinks one of the Chargers got a hand on him during his 93-yard kickoff return in the first quarter.

Torn ACL ends Jets NT Jenkins' season (AP)
Rex Ryan and the New York Jets have to adjust to life without Kris Jenkins anchoring their defensive line. The big nose tackle was placed on season-ending injured reserve Monday with a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee, a huge loss for one of the league's top-ranked defenses. Panthers' Wesley gets 1-game ban for hit (AP)
The NFL suspended Carolina Panthers special teams player Dante Wesley one game without pay Monday for launching himself into defenseless Tampa Bay returner Clifton Smith. Wesley left his feet and hit Smith in the neck and head with his forearm and shoulder as Smith waited to field a punt late in the second quarter on Sunday.
Falcons CB Williams out for season (AP)
The Atlanta Falcons will have a new look in their secondary in Sunday's game at Dallas after losing cornerback Brian Williams to a season-ending knee injury. Coach Mike Smith said Monday that Williams tore the anterior cruciate ligament "and some other things" in his right knee in Sunday night's 21-14 win over the Chicago Bears.
Bengals star DE Odom out for season (AP)
Antwan Odom had surgery for a torn Achilles' tendon on Monday, ending his season and leaving the Cincinnati Bengals with a big hole on their defensive line. Odom was the Bengals' top pass rusher, tied for the league lead with eight sacks. He hurt his right Achilles' tendon during a 28-17 loss to Houston on Sunday.
Ravens DB Rolle's career likely over (AP)
Baltimore Ravens defensive back Samari Rolle almost certainly won't play this season, and it's likely his career is over because of a nagging neck injury. The 33-year-old Rolle was placed on the physically unable to perform list in August with hopes he might return, but a recent operation did not correct the problem.
Bills QB Edwards uncertain for next game (AP)
Bills quarterback Trent Edwards needs further evaluation after sustaining the second concussion of his NFL career, leaving the starter's status uncertain for Buffalo's game at Carolina this weekend. Coach Dick Jauron said Monday that Edwards was healthy enough to travel home with the team after he was knocked out in the second quarter of a 16-13 overtime win at the New York Jets on Sunday.

Arizona wide receiver Anquan Boldin has a sprained right ankle that makes his status uncertain for Sunday night's game at the New York Giants. Giants LBs Boley, Kehl undergo surgery (AP)
The New York Giants are dealing with the loss of linebackers Michael Boley and Bryan Kehl, who both had surgery and will sit out this weekend against Oakland. Boley had arthroscopic surgery Tuesday to repair a partially torn meniscus in his right knee. Dr. Russell Warren expects Boley to be sidelined approximately four weeks.
