Celtics out to the good start but now need to stay motivated

More of the same for the C’s as they are off to a 20-5 start and have opened up the largest lead of any division leader at 10 games. Now the challenge is staying healthy, and hungry, until the stretch before the playoffs begin. It’s no secret that the Celtics aren’t competing against teams in the Atlantic as their division crown is not at risk, but fighting for the top spot in the East as home court will be essential to survive and advance against such stiff competition. Let’s face it the C’s have a tough road to get back to the mountain top as the are sure to cross the path of either the Cavs with King James or the Magic with Dwight Howard, and of course if they manage to survive the East that team from Tinsel Town will probably be waiting and rested. Calling it like we see it, you can’t compare the paths that the Celtics and Lakers have to take, as LA will MAYBE play one team the caliber of Cleveland/Orlando in Denver who hasn’t gotten any better than the team that lost to LA last year 4-2. Also with home court advantage it would be a surprise not to see familiar foes in the Finals when we get there. So the question facing the Green will be can they stay healthy and how much to they downshift going into the playoffs in order to have enough juice to run the gauntlet we just described?
