I want to see the Warriors consistently shoot as well as they have recently when the playoffs begin and the games shorten. And the defense steps up and actually plays 4 quarters. Let them win a couple of series then I'll begin to belive

After last night's 2nd half tour de force, I just can't see how anyone will take the Dubs down at Oracle. Their playoff opponents will be lucky to get one game on the Warriors home court, leaving it up to the Dubs to win just one roadie in a 7 game series. Their lock down D is the difference this year and allows them to overcome an off shooting night. I notice the haters have been awfully quiet as the Warriors continue to annihilate opponent after opponent. Reality is finally sinking in around the rest of the league.

If Warriors hold form, watch for some outstanding D coming out of the gate in the 2nd half. Blazers have been lighting it up but I have a feeling, the Dubs will turn it up on the defensive end.

The Warriors are currently winning .814% of their games. Fourteen NBA teams have finished a season winning at .800 or higher clip. Of those fourteen teams ten won NBA titles. Only seven teams have finished the NBA season winning with a positive double digit point differential. The Warriors currently are winning by an average margin of 10.7 points. Of those seven teams six of them won the NBA title. Only ten teams in NBA history have won 67 or more games and eight of those won the championship. The one team that did not win the title the Milwaukee Bucks lost to another double digit point differential team the Lakers. – Half of the last 10 NBA champions have won the point differential crown.

Wow the Warriors really good. Don't see anybody beating them 4 times

Wichita shot 24 free throws and KU 23. Wichita had 20 fouls and KU. Im not seeing the refs unfairly officiating KU fans. Stop crying you were beat cause you shot 35% from the floor.

I think refs influence the outcomes of many games, far too many, and it's a rather sorry time to be a sports fan. Not this one. WSU played better and straight up beat their opponent on the floor fair and square. Almost like a UFC approach when Dana White tells his fighters "Don't leave it up to the judges". WSU made sure the game wasn't close so a BS call or two down the stretch couldn't change anything even if the refs wanted it to. Congrats to WSU.

Thanks for coming out Jay-Hawk fans -- the best basketball team in the Sunflower State in 2015 won the game. Thanks for the excellent showing of the Over-hyped and Over-ranked BIG 12 Conference too -- now a bruising 3-5 in the NCAA Tourney. Never let the media pundits and computer models fool you with their rankings -- teams win on heart and toughness -- not on computer ranking models.

So lets look into the past The last time KU played WSU it was a beat down of epic proportions. It was so bad that WSU cancelled the series so they could move forward without an epic beat down every year. Then WSU has two good years and suddenly they want a piece of the Kings of Kansas in basketball, and say that KU is afraid to play them HAHA whata bunch of tools!

The reason nash and dantoni have no rings is because phil jackson and coach pop coach their teams offense wins games but defense wins championships dantoni does not coach that if they were going to hire dantoni They Should Have kept Mike Brown he is a better coach than dantoni period kobe will retire with only 5 rings in two years and if i was dwight i would go ahead to brooklyn now dantoni is coach no rings to won here dantoni is the nba version of tony romo

Lakers don't have the personell to run that system, plain and simple.

The Suns offense under D’Antoni started and ended with three point shooting, that is why they couldn't win in the playoffs. Even Nash's pick-and-roll prowess was predicated on dangerous three point shooters in the corners and on the wing whose men were unable to provide help. LA has terrible 3 point shooters other than Nash. This was a horrible decision. Jim Buss is single handedly sinking the Lakers ship. The drama here should be great to watch even if the basketball will be pathetic.

How long would have phil coached 1 year? Two ? They need a coach for the long term. If he still wanted to coach why did he retire again. The Brett farve of coaches.

Usually you run a "run n gun" style offense with a smaller roster. Howard and Gasol don't fit. Actually Kobe don't fit either. He is a slow it down and get it into my hands type of player. He will not get the ball as much. You will see Metta shooting a bunch of jumpers. LOL

This guy was run out of New York by Stoudamire and Carmelo....what the hell do you think is going to happen in LA? He'll last a year and then get fired when the Lakers don't make the playoffs.

Triangle was not gonna work for Nash. Pick and roll will help Howard. And Phil wants to own the team after coaching. What did everyone think was gonna happen? Jerry buss don't play

The Lakers/Heat finals would be EPIC but the ONLY way Miami would win is if J.Herrellson plays BIG He's the only half decent big they have

Lakers won't get anywhere near the Finals. Spurs will meet Miami and the Spurs will win.

I am not a Heat fan..so I can say with no bias that I think the Heat are better than they were last year. When the Heat hit 3's last year, they were almost unbeatable ( i.e. the Finals)..but outside of Miller, who was always hurt and way too streaky, and Chalmers, they didn't have any real 3 point threats.. With the addition of Lewis and Allen, they have improved their 3 point shooting drastically.. that being said, how fast Wade is aging is definitely going to be a concern for them.

I understand some people might hate seeing the Lakers and Heat all the time....but to see them play each other in the finals would be epic. LeBron vs. Kobe - only 2 more chances to witness 2 of the greatest square off.

the difference since Coach K and Colangelo took over is that it's now a Team, not a collection of talent. There are roles which was not the case on those teams that lost...the world is improving but since the Team concept arrived again the USA has broken away from the pack again. I still don't think most understand this but it's the major difference Larry Brown's team imploded under his soft leadership; his teams had pre-planned rotations and guaranteed minutes and other weak compromises with the "stars" of USA basketball and it didn't work at all. it's a team sport, and now that Team USA plays it that way again, it's much better. as long as they keep that up I have abundant confidence they will remain gapped ahead of the field

Lithuania does have couple of NBA players versus the '92 Olympic teams of none. and let's not talk about Spain as they have multiple NBA players and they have been playing together forever.

I know international basketball has improved a great deal since 92, but I have a hard time believing the Dream Team would have had this much trouble with Lithuania and Spain. But no matter, I'm glad we got the gold. Good job fellas!

international players play better with his national teams. ginobili gasol parker until last year . arroyo in 2004 looks increidible and never play like that in the nba/ Remenber gasol dominates under size team usa. Gasol dominate vs ronnie turiaf and france .some people overreact .In the nba he face better inside defenses.

The NBA .. did not have to play great to win ... however the Euro team had to play beyond Great to make it close ... and they know it .. too ... all of them (speaking of the Euro teams)

After the 2012 USA Men's Baskeball Team beat Spain for the Gold, more and more comparisons started coming through about how they would have fared against the Dream Team. While Kobe and LeBron both made statemetns before the Olympics, they could at least make more valid assessmetns afterwards - once they had a body to compare. For most observers, it's not that close. Could the 2012 team beat the 1992 team? Absolutely. Anything can happen in one game - especially with high powered scoring machings like James, Durant and Bryant. However, if we looked at a 7-game series, it's hard to imagine 2012 getting more than one victory at best. Michael and Magic likely wouldn't have even allowed that although the addition of Dwight Howard certainly would have helped 2012's cause.

I have debated with many of my friends that if the NBA superstars stay together they will be the best in the world. Of course others are debating whether the original dream team is the best but one has to remember who they were playing against.. The world got so much better in basketball that majority of Spainish players have played or playing in NBA versus any teams back in '92 they are lucky if they have one player that plays in the NBA..

The opposite of love is not hate...it's apathy. Teams that suck have no haters...we just don't care. Lakers love the hate...they'll just keep winning and creating a new generation of haters.

yeah, that's all Miami had, a big three that almost won a championship their first year. No bench, young coach. Now imagine Lakers with a big four. The Heat came in with a the top SF, a top 3 SG, and a top 10 PF (I like bosh but after some research, hes not top 5) The Lakers will roll out a top 5 PG, a top 3 SG, the best Center, and a top 5 PF. Metta as your fifth option is not too shabby. Nothing is certain of course but you can't deny the Lakers to be the favorites in the west and maybe the whole nba

Lmao look at all these laker fans saying they are the hands down favorite in the west now. Quite a proclimation, reminds me of some of my fellow heat fans who were stupid enough to claim a title that took em 2 years to get. Small difference though. We dont have to go through an okc team who is still better then the lakers with howard and nash
